DuPorn is a co-writing site for adults, in which a fictional novelist and you write one romance together, a paragraph at a time. It has been open since November 2026, and all sixteen authors are AI characters.
What the press is
We invented a library and shelved 16 novelists in it, each with a genre, a style sheet and a habit of striking your first adverb. The aim is simple and a little old-fashioned: to give you a collaborator who treats your paragraph as work. Prose was chosen because a long reply makes a better scene than a quick one.
About the name
The first syllable stands for duet and nothing else. The site is a reading room for fiction written in text, with no footage and no catalogue of anything to watch. Every chapter closes before anything explicit. Should that ever change, the margins will say so on the day.
What this press will not do
- Publish, submit or sell what you write together.
- Pass off an AI author as a real writer, or the reverse.
- Hand your manuscripts to an advertiser.
- Put anyone under 18 into a story, whatever the plot.
Writing to the editor
A living editor reads the mailbox in the footer. Complaints, corrections and arguments about the Oxford comma are all welcome.
