Sixteen novelists are on the shelf, each with an opening page in her own voice and a style sheet on her jacket. Pull a spine, write the next paragraph, and she answers in the margin and remembers the book.
There is no charge to start a volume. Newcomers get 3 days with every author open; after that the paperback allows 10 paragraphs daily, while a subscription removes the count altogether.
Every author now has a jacket portrait, and a wide banner crowns the home page. Nothing else is on offer so far. If that changes, it will be noted here first.
